Armine Grigoryan, piano

Armine Grigoryan

Graduated from the Yerevan Tchaikovsky School of Music , Yerevan State  Conservatory and postgraduate studies under the guidance of Professors Georgy and Sergey Saradjians. Armine Grigoryan has had a number of appearances with the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra, performing the piano concertos by Mozart, Beethoven and Brahms. As piano accompanist, she has won Special prizes at Aram Khachaturian (1997) and Levon Chilingirian (2002) Competitions. Armine Grigoryan has collaborated with renowned violinist Nikolay Madoyan by performing versatile programs, including the Beethoven 10 Sonatas. She has toured Russia, Italy, UAE, Germany, Lithuania, Lebanon, Cyprus and the USA. Armine Grigoryan is a laureate of “Roma-2003” Piano Competition, where she received also a Special prize and Medal of the Chamber of Deputies of Rome. CDs have been released with her recordings. In 2005, for the first time in Armenia, Armine Grigoryan organized a festival of the Art of Accompaniment. As a jury member she has participated in a number of International and Republic Competitions. Armine Grigoryan is a Professor of the Yerevan State Conservatory and since 2004, director of Aram Khachaturian house-museum.


 

 

 

Karen Shahgaldyan, violin

Karen Shahgaldyan

Graduated from Moscow Conservatory (class of Prof. Viktor Tretyakov) and postgraduate  studies with Proff. Maya Glezarova. He has participated in master classes given by Y.Menuhin, V.Spivakov, G.Zhislin and Y.Chugaeva. from 1998-2002 Karen Shahgaldyan performed in the staff of famous “Moscow Virtuosi” under Vladimir Spivakov. In 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 seasons he has appeared as soloist with various orchestras playing on Stradivari violin given to him on loan from the Ministry of Culture of Russian Federation.Karen Shahgaldyan is a laureate of International Pablo Sarasate Competition (Spain). He is a scholarship holder of  David Oistrach and Yuri Yankelevich Foundations as well as Mstislav Rostrtopovich International  Foundation. Karen Shahgaldyan has toured widely throughout the USA, Sweden, South Korea, Armenia and Russia.

Karen Kocharyan, cello

Karen Kocharyan

Graduated from the Yerevan Tchaykovsky School of Music (Class of Prof. Alexander Chaushyan) and Yerevan State Conservatory (class of Prof. Geronty Talalyan). Karen Kocharyan is one of the founding members of the Khachatyryan trio, first solo cellist of the Armenian Chamber Players (ACP), Associate concertmaster of the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra. He has toured with the Armenian Chamber Players and Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra throughout Europe, featuring as soloist as well. In 2005 Karen Kocharyan , under conductor Alexander Ivashkin (UK), appeared as soloist with Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra and in 2006 with Eduard Topchjan and Pasadena LAC Symphony Orchestra took part in Beethoven’s Triple Concerto appearance. Karen Kocharyan is an active chamber musician. As a chamber player Karen Kocharyan collaborate with such renowned instrumentalists as Yuri Zhislin, Boris Andrianov, Alexander Ghindin, Tamaki Kawakubo, Wolfgang Meyer, Daishin Kashimoto.
